I spent three beautiful, gorgeous, fabulous days hanging out in one of my favorite places in the world, the New York’s Adirondack mountains! The ADK mtns are always special, and every season is wonderful, spring, summer, fall and winter!
So anyway, I was asked to teach a workshop for the Lake Pleasant Quilters who wanted to make the combined “Up North” wall hanging. The quilters were busy, as you’ll see, but we still had time for some kayaking in the surrounding lakes and streams.
I’ll start off with the beautiful lakes and mountains, and the kayaking first . . . .
Look at this view!!!!! I do believe I must make another Up North Pattern! 🙂
and we spotted an osprey nest that was close by too!
See the Osprey in the tree??
Now, back to the quilters – we had two FULL days and a half to make “Up North” at up north in the Adirondacks!
First up are all the quilters (and me in the middle)
Ruth, Barb, Connie, Denise, me, Donnie, Ann and Barb.
Next up is Barb and Barb 🙂
Then Ruth and Connie
AND Ruth, Connie, Barb, Barb, Donnie and Ann
Thank you Lake Pleasant Quilters – I thoroughly enjoyed myself and hope that you did too!
