Adirondack Quilt Shop and “Mud Season”

One weekend ago, I traveled north to Glens Falls and to the Adirondack Quilt Shop (I call it the ADK quilt shop) Smile.  We had another “Mud Season” 2 day workshop, AND we were able to use the brand new classroom.  Just down the hall from the main shop.

Have you ever been to the ADK shop?  You really should go visit it soon.  It’s one of the brightest, largest shops in our area, and filled with everything we love!  Fabrics, notions, patterns, machines (be sure to check out the Sweet Sixteen quilting machine), and of course, Bailey the puppy.  Everyone loves Bailey, he is so adorable.  Even if you’re a cat person, like me, you’ll love this friendly puppy!

Also in the building where ADK quilt shop is located, are dozens of more shops! You could spend all day going from room to room seeing all the different stores and their offerings.  One of my favorites is the Tea Shop – any tea that you can imagine is available there.  The building address is 21 Cooper St, Glens Falls, NY – Go check it out!

But now I must do my “show & tell” about the four quilters and their “Mud Season” quilts.

First up is Karen – she was only able to hang out with us for one day, but she got the background (the main part) done and the sheep in the shed!

Next is Terrie and her cute red barn

next two are the “North Country” ladies – they live way up near Chestertown, NY – but it’s Mud Season up there, too! Smile

First is Kathy

And finally, Sandy (hiding between the barn)

I love all the raincoats and bonnets for the ducks!
Thank you quilters – I had great weekend!
