I traveled to my favorite Massachusetts shop on two separate weekends in the past two months. A Notion To Quilt is the shop and I know you’ve read my past blogs about this great shop! If you haven’t been there yet, you REALLY should plan a road trip soon! They have everything and lots of it too! There are batiks, blenders, modern, reproduction, novelty, the largest selection of landscapes I’ve ever seen, and on and on. And then there’s the notions, patterns, machines, long-arm machines, classrooms, and a GREAT staff!
The shop is located on Route 2, The Mohawk Trail just south of the village of Shelburne Falls, (known for the Bridge of Flowers- another must see)
Anyway, back to my workshops – most of the quilters decided to make Snowy Hideaway, but one worked on Up North. And here they are . . . .
I’ll start with Dot, the “Up North” Quilter
And the Snowy Hideaway Quilters are . . . .
Gail
Here’s Lois . . .
And Roseanne . . .
and here’s Susanne . . .
and last, but not least, is Terri . . .
And let me state that the quilters did these great wall hangings in TWO days! Pretty good, Huh?
